What a wonderful week I had. Once again, HSN proves to be crazy but fun... It was great to work and hang out with the beautiful Jenn Crawford. I learn so much about how to be a better NO!NO! Girl every show I do. She is amazing. She turned me on to an amazing place to dine..."717 South". Really great food and great fun.

It was wonderful to see my nieces... Kallie and Lindsay...so proud of all my nieces. I showed my water lily painting on Tuesday and they hosted a quick meet and greet with some awesome Blair fans!!! Johnny you especially touched my heart! Thanks for coming out to support my nieces and I'm so glad I got to visit with each of you.

Thanks for your comments and I love hearing from you.

April 10, 2012

Happy Spring time again everyone. I hope the Easter bunny hopped your way this year!!!

The funny thing about not having a job is the fact that I lose track of time. I can't tell you what day it is most of the time because I have no frame of reference anymore for my weekends. Very strange for me. Does this happen to you too?

For those of you who do have a job, be grateful but don't work too hard. And for those of you who don't... enjoy your time and try to be as productive as possible so you feel good about yourself. I have spent the last few weeks painting again. It's been a long time since I picked up a paint brush. It's like starting all over. I enjoy watercolors, acrylics and I'm going to try to teach myself to paint with oils. My mom is a lovely artist and that's how I started painting when I was a little girl. It is nice to have that creative outlet for me. I am really loving the creative process. And hopefully with each painting I'll get better and better.

My nieces own a fabulous store in Tampa, Florida in the Hyde Park area… And on April 17... I am going to do a nice little meet and greet there from 5 to 7 ---- so if you are in the Tampa area, please stop by and check out their beautiful store as well as saying hey to me. You can see firsthand my painting of the water lilies.

The reason I'm going to Tampa is to do three days on HSN.... April 14th, 15th, and 16th. Of course, I'll be a guest selling the NO!NO! again. HSN is an adventure and a challenge at the same time. I'm completely out of my comfort zone but it certainly keeps me on my toes and I do have fun doing it. The company that owns the NO!NO! is Radiancy. They were invited to do the closing bell at the NASDAQ last Tuesday. If you look real close in the picture you can see me.

Once again I have to let you know... I thank you so much for all the lovely comments, letters, emails, tweets….You guys are awesome.

April 1, 2012

I hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful springtime with the blooming flowers and green coming to life everywhere. Jim, JQ, Mochi, and I headed upstate for a beautiful weekend up in the Catskills.

So many of you commented on the photo I put out with me and our dog. To be honest, the dog is JQ's. I did not want a dog. But now that I have her.... she is absolutely the "new" love of my life. She is a long-haired German Shepherd and JQ named her after his favorite Japanese dessert. She has completely helped me through many transitions over this past year. There is nothing like a sweet dog to make you forget your woes.

The Divas are getting some action happening now… We have our first scheduled concert for 2012 in Palm Springs California on June 2. We are hoping to book another date in New Jersey on the Jersey shore sometime this summer at Uncle Vinny's. It will be great to sing with Bobbie and Kathy again but most of all it'll be great to reconnect with my fans.

There isn't a day that goes by where I'm walking on the streets of New York City or in the subway where I'm not stopped by a fan of One Life to Live still mourning the loss of the show. I want to thank all my fan base out there that has been working tirelessly to support me. I truly appreciate your efforts and I can't thank you enough for your kind words and lovely comments.

I'm heading back to HSN again in April and I will keep you posted on the days and times. I was happy that Kentucky beat Louisville... in the final four last night... yippie. I hope they will end up being the NCAA champions. Go Wildcats!!!!!!

March 25, 2012

What a glorious week it was in NYC... Spring is in the air... It was in the 70's all week. I walked in the park every day... Walked around NYC...

Auditioning... shopping... Oh yeah... I also turned 51 last week. How quickly I forget!!! Thank you for all the Happy Birthday wishes... The tweets... Comments... Cards.... Emails... What a beautiful outpouring of love and sweetness from soooo many. Except my brother John, who reminded me I'm closer to sixty than I am 40... Lovely thought. Thanks John.

I spent my birthday with Susan Gammie and her husband Dan, Deb and Rick Hoyt and their daughter Sophie, Jimmy and JQ at a beautiful Italian restaurant down in the village.

JQ spent Friday day and night at a freshman retreat... I think he had a great time... I can't believe how grown up he is now. Shocking to me. But he will always be my sweet boy.

I also want to let you know I have a couple of more days coming up in April on HSN. I'll let you know the exact days soon. The Divas are back together, too, and we're working up a new show. On June 2 we'll be in Palm Springs, California.

March 12, 2012

Happy St. Patty's week to you all! I know many of you have enjoyed the memory lane section of this website… Well, last Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, I strolled down my own memory lane... let's say about 25 years! I know many of you are looking at the surrounding pictures and wondering what the heck is Kassie doing?

Well, I had the distinguished honor to appear at the Monster Mania convention in Cherry Hill, New Jersey this weekend and boy was it an eye-opener!!! 25 years ago I appeared as Bobby Jo, in the cult classic horror film " Evil Dead II". Who knew it would still stand on its own 25 years later. If you haven't seen it... it is definitely a must see because it is full of good gore but unbelievable amounts of laughter and fun. I met many wonderful people that love the horror genre as well as my beloved soap fans. Thanks for coming out to say hi. I was so happy to get to know fellow GH cast member (X-Faison) Anders Hove. He was in a horror film series too. From his pictures he looked mighty scary. I know he played a really bad guy on GH... the ultimate villain... But in real life he was quite lovely. Now that I've experienced this type of convention I certainly plan on appearing at more of them... so keep checking back and I will let you know the next time I'll be in a town near you and you can come out with all the rest of the ghouls. Lol.

This week also ends my run on GH. I want to thank all of the fans that watched and I want to thank all of the GH cast and crew that were so gracious and wonderful to work with. Thanks to Ron for some powerful writing and Frank for giving me the opportunity.

Feb. 26, 2012

Well the time is here. Blair arrives in Port Charles this week and I sure hope every one of you guys will watch. Friday's episode when Starr and Cole arrived was just awesome. I cannot wait until next week to see what happens. Ron has magic up his sleeve... So be ready!!!

I spent the last week up in the Catskill Mountains.... eating, skiing and having a really good time with family and friends. Next week I'm going to see Josh Kelly... who is doing a documentary on soap operas. Wednesday I have an audition for a low-budget feature film. I'm sure my plate will be filling up as the week progresses. But I can tell you this much, from 3pm to 4pm I will be glued to my television set and I certainly hope my fans and friends will be too.

Thank you again for all your wonderful emails. I really look forward to hearing your thoughts regarding the Mannings in Port Charles. Until then…

Feb. 19, 2012

Well the countdown continues for the Mannings to arrive in Port Charles. This week Kristen arrives and Starr Manning hits the pavement of GH... I hope everyone is watching and everyone will tune in to bring those ratings up. I just can't bear the thought of no wonderful soap operas on ABC.

Last week I auditioned for two nighttime shows (pilots). Believe it or not, I'm actually having a good time auditioning. While I was working on One Life to Live, I was always so busy and never felt that I could do my best on an audition. But now I have the time to focus and be prepared when I walk into the door. I'll keep you posted.

This week I'm up in the Catskill Mountains snow skiing with my family. I'm getting some much needed R and R. It kind of feels like we really haven't had a winter here in New York so it's nice to enjoy the snow even if it is man-made.

Feb. 12, 2012

I'm breathing but I can't move my neck after last week’s crazy adventures. I woke up Friday with such a stiff neck... Hum??? You think it's stress????

I'm headed back to NYC today and back to search for another job. My visit to LA was brief but bountiful. I worked 7 shows in 2 days on GH. What a great time I had seeing Roger, Kristen, Michael, Frank, and Ron again. I almost felt home... It was wonderful to be back on set in an environment I love. The cast and crew could not have been more gracious and welcoming. The work was intense and satisfying and my goal was to "represent" OLTL and bring it back to the fans that love us!!!! Please tune in... Really great story.... Really great show.

On Friday night Kristen's (real) family had a party.... Saw sooo many Llanview folks. And Saturday I spent the day with my dear bud Nathan... Now it's time to board!!!

Feb. 6, 2012

Wow... Doing HSN this weekend was not at all what I expected. Talk about fast and furious!!!!! It was an amazing experience for me and I really hope I get to do it again. I did 2 shows Friday ... Midnight to 2am .... up at 6am and back on camera at 8am ----off and on---- until 10pm. HSN is a well oiled machine. I loved being a part of it. We sold around 30,000 NoNo's.... Can you believe it? Obviously I'm not the only woman that struggles with unwanted hair. Oh my!!!!.

But now the real challenge begins for me.... and that is getting my heart, soul, and brain ready to hit Port Charles running. I've got an abundant amount of great material to learn/memorize between now and Thursday and I don't even have all of it yet. Blair might end up looking like a deer in head lights when she gets there. LOL I've got to get back into that wacky world of what I call "cramming for an oral POP QUIZ" everyday. But I'm sooooo looking forward to getting back into doing what I love best...... SOAPS!!!!!!!! I hope ya'll are starting to watch GH (those of you that were only OLTL fans).... so you will be up to speed when "the Mannings" arrive. And for those fans that already love GH.... just know I want it to be the best show on ABC Daytime. I hope it will live on forever. We fans deserve it!!!!!

I can't wait to see my California friends and I've missed my OLTL co-stars!!!! The whirlwind adventure begins!!!

Jan. 24, 2012

Well how's everybody doing? I am finally coming out of my fog from the ending of One Life to Live. I never realized how exhausted I was day to day. But now that I'm rested, I'm ready to get back to work. I still don't have exact dates on when I'm starting at General Hospital but I know it's sometime next month and I'm really looking forward to it.

I had a great time last Saturday night with my fellow cast mates from OLTL at the Loving Llanview farewell show. I hear they're taking it on the road so I'll let you know when I'm in a town near you. It's a wonderful opportunity for the fans to get to say goodbye to their show that they have loved for over 43 years. Many were in tears Saturday night and couldn't understand why One Life to Live had to leave the airwaves. I second that emotion.

As we all move on, I just want to keep you posted on what I'm doing professionally. I'm auditioning for commercials, voiceovers, and other acting projects and when I land one you will be the first to know. It's the first time in 19 years that I will be able to audition during a pilot season for network television. I'm a little scared but it should be fun.

I will be on HSN all Super Bowl Sunday, which is February 5. If you're not a Giants or 49ers fan tune in and I'll see you there. I'll be talking about the No!No! of course!!!

I, once again, want to thank each and every one of you for writing wonderful, wonderful letters to me of encouragement and support and for loving Llanview as much as I did. I'm also really loving the videos that fans have put together of Todd and Blair for our ride down memory lane. Thanks so much.

Jan. 18, 2012

Wow... rumors are flying. GH to prime time??? I joked at last year’s Emmys that OLTL was going to be so good they would have to move us to Prime time. I don't know about you but I'm really missing OLTL. It's a lost feeling that I can't quite kick. I can't wait to see the ratings for last week.

I want to let everyone know that I'll be on HSN on Feb. 5th... talking about "NONO". So check it out.

I want to thank everyone that posted over the past few weeks. Your thoughts and well wishes were heartfelt and very appreciated. OLTL/Blair fans are so special and I can't thank you enough for your support over the years. I'm looking forward to Port Charles and getting Blair into the action. See ya soon!!!

Jan. 16, 2012

We can walk away with our heads held high!!!!! I must say the last week of OLTL air shows were fantastic. Must see TV. I was proud of the work we all did. I watched the final air show with many of the cast and crew at Blondie's here in NYC. Very sad but was so fun to be reunited for the final moment. Of course I was a little uncomfortable because of Blair's love scene... lol... It was like watching with my family. Everyone laughed.... we all loved our jobs and the people that made it happen. I thought the tribute to OLTL on the View was great too. Really great to see those old clips.... what a wonderful rich history of characters.

Now... on to General Hospital.... Yippie. I must say the the ads and press release by ABC is a little misleading and I feel I need to clarify to all my friends, family, and fans that are emailing and calling wondering when I'm moving to Los Angeles. Frank Valentini, GH's EP, asked me to come out for a couple of shows in February and I'm thrilled. Not only will I get to work with a fantastic cast.... but a little piece of OLTL will live on. That makes me very happy. And who knows where it will lead. Once the Mannings come to town anything is possible. I wish everyone at GH the best. No one loves daytime more than Frank Valentini and Ron Carlivati and no one works harder than those two men. GH is in good hands and hopefully ABC will let GH live on!!!!!! See ya'll soon in Port Charles!!!!!!!!!!

Jan. 11, 2012

Wow... I can't believe it is official. Just when I thought Blair had to hang her hat up for good she is pulling out a suitcase and heading west.

I'm thrilled to be joining Roger, Kristen, and Michael in Port Charles where all the big boys and girls play. They have an awesome cast and I can't wait to work with them. Someone needs to warn Carly about the windows!!! LOL...

I'm so happy a little piece of the fabulous OLTL will live on at GH. Thank you Ron and Frank!!!!

I'm ready to Rock and Roll!!!!

Dec. 23, 2011

Happy Holidays and a joyous Merry Christmas to each and everyone!!!!! I hope everyone is getting into the holiday spirit this year. It has been slow going for me because we had our first snow storm on Halloween and the weather now in NYC has been so mild. But the city is buzzing with shoppers and the lights and decorations are breathtaking.

We will be headed up to the mountains where it's Christmas 4 months out of the year. My Atlanta first cousins and their families will be joining us again this year for between Christmas and New Year skiing and festivities. And my beautiful step daughter is coming here from UC Santa Cruz.... we all can't wait.

I know our hearts are heavy with the ending of OLTL on the 13th of January but 2012 will be a year of new beginnings!!!! Keep your chin up and hold your head high... Good things are around the corner.

Have a Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year!

Dec. 14, 2011

Wow, what a time of change for me. 2011 will go down for me as a year of transitions. I sold my apartment, moved, JQ started a new school, lost my job, got it back, lost my job again, moved out of my dressing room after 18 years and now I'm saying goodbye to cast and crew members that have become my second family. As the curtain comes down on OLTL I'm reminded of all the wonderful fans that have supported this show over the years. They have encouraged me at times when I needed it most. Surprised me with gifts and letters of support. It has been such fun to play Blair Cramer for the past 18 years. I want to celebrate the success and the long run of OLTL and Blair. It has been an extraordinary time in my life. The friendships have been life changing. I'm proud to have been a soap opera actress and if that is all I'm ever blessed to do....then that is enough for me. But I'm not one to sit still. The future looks bright to me and I feel empowered by the possibilities. I know that with my friends out there encouraging me that anything is possible. OLTL won't be the last thing on my resume'. So until we meet again.... Much love and appreciation for all your support over the last 18 years.

Dec. 1, 2011

I have really enjoyed reading your posts and tweets these past few days. I really want the last days of OLTL to be great for everyone that has devoted their hearts to watching and therefore become BIG fans of Blair and TnB over the years. Last night I watched an hour of various Youtube clips... Who knew there were so many "Todd Manning Part bla bla bla" segments. Oh my.... but after watching I understood why so many viewers have returned to watch again. Todd and Blair are fascinating to watch. Many of the episodes I didn't even remember shooting.

I, now in hind sight, can understand the rooting factor for these two lost souls to find each other. They both had their own tormented past but found comfort and understanding in each others presence. It was very moving at times to watch. Because it was so long ago and I felt so personally removed from that young woman on the screen... I felt I was watching for the first time. I now understand the impact this "super couple" had on the canvas of OLTL as well as the devoted fans that got on board the Llanview train.

As the show comes to an end I look forward to hearing your comments and I hope I can shed some light on the scenes as they draw to the end. Let me know what you are thinking.

Keep Connected with Kassie
